Dawn Allison MBACP Accredited Counsellor
I am Dawn Allison, a professionally qualified counsellor and senior accredited supervisor working in private practice. I have enjoyed running my own private practice since the year 2000. I am trained in Individual and Couple Counselling as well as being qualified to supervise my fellow practitioners.
I qualified in Pastoral Counselling with a Post-Graduate Diploma at St. John’s College, Nottingham. Continuing my development, I attained a degree in Counselling at Coventry University. My professional studies and research continued at Leicester University in Post-Graduate MA study including supervision training and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I completed my MA and research study in Professional Studies in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I subscribe to the BACP ethical framework for good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and to the sub-division of the BACP, the Association for Pastoral Spiritual Care and Counselling (APSCC).
